Terms of service

These terms are the agreement between you and MOOZLO. They are written to be read, not to be got past, so if something here is unclear, write to us before you agree to it.

1. Who we are

MOOZLO is a music distribution service. MOOZLO is not yet incorporated as a company; it is run by its founder personally, and these terms are an agreement with that operator. You can reach us at support@moozlo.com, and we answer from that address.

2. What we do

We deliver the recordings you upload to digital stores and streaming services, and we register them with YouTube's Content ID system so that uses of your recording on YouTube can be claimed and monetised. We collect what those services pay for your music and pass your share of it to you — see section 7. We charge nothing else: no fee per release and no subscription.

We deliver to the stores and streaming services through our distribution partner, Believe Music. The exception is YouTube: YouTube Music, YouTube Content ID and everything else to do with YouTube are delivered and managed by MOOZLO directly, not through Believe. You agree that we may pass your release to Believe for that purpose, on these terms.

We are not a record label. We take no ownership of your music and we do not sign you to anything exclusive unless we agree that separately, in writing.

3. What you promise us

You may only distribute through MOOZLO what you actually have the right to distribute. By submitting a release you confirm that:

If any of that turns out to be untrue, the cost of it is yours: any claim, takedown, refund or penalty a store or rights holder imposes on us because of your release can be recovered from what we hold for you.

4. What you allow us to do

You grant MOOZLO the non-exclusive right to deliver, reproduce, make available and monetise the recordings you submit, on the stores and services we deliver to, for as long as the release is live. This right exists so that we can do the job you asked for; it ends when the release is taken down.

5. Review, and why we might say no

Every release is checked before it is delivered — artwork, metadata, credits and audio. We may ask you to change something, and we may refuse a release outright. We will always tell you which specific thing is wrong. Common reasons are artwork containing a store's logo or a URL, missing or incorrect ISRCs, an artist name that impersonates someone, or audio that is silent, clipped or mislabelled.

6. Price

Distribution through MOOZLO is free. There is no fee per release, no subscription and nothing to pay before your music goes out. Every account may send unlimited releases, under as many artist names as it needs and under its own label name.

We are paid only by a share of what your music earns, set out in section 7. If you leave, there is nothing to cancel and nothing owed: your releases are taken down on request, as section 8 describes.

7. Money

What you keep

You keep 85% of the net revenue that reaches us for your music; we keep the other 15%, and that is the whole of our price. Net revenue means what the store or service actually pays us after its own cut — not the headline price of a stream. Accounts opened before 27 September 2026 keep the 100% they joined with.

When it becomes yours

Stores report a month's earnings and pay for it later, often two or more months later. A statement appears in your account as soon as it is reported, and the money is credited to your balance when the channel has actually paid us. We credit what arrived; we do not advance money we have not received.

Taking it out

When we can hold money

We may hold a payment while we investigate a claim that a release is not yours, a chargeback or reversal from a store, or activity a store reports as fraudulent streaming. We will tell you when we do and what it is about.

8. Taking music down

You can ask for any release to be taken down at any time from your dashboard. Stores take days to weeks to action a removal and we cannot make them faster. Money already earned before a takedown is still yours.

We may take a release down ourselves if we are required to by a store or a rights holder, or if we believe it breaks section 3. See the takedown policy.

9. Closing an account

You may close your account at any time. Any balance above the minimum withdrawal can be withdrawn first; below it, write to us and we will arrange the transfer. We may close an account that repeatedly submits material it has no right to, or that is used to defraud a store.

10. What we do not promise

We cannot promise that a store will accept a release, that it will go live by a particular date, that Content ID will match every use, or that a service will keep paying at any given rate. Those are decisions made by the stores and by YouTube, not by us. What we do promise is to tell you the truth about what we sent, what came back, and what was paid.

11. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a way that affects your money or your rights, we will tell you by email before the change applies, and the date below will change.
